The organization, the outfits, the guests, the delay… All these variables we can influence and quickly resolve. But one fear is and will always remain: what if it rains at your wedding?
The weather is one of the parameters out of our control, so it’s best to accept that rain can be a potential source of anxiety.
There are several ways of dealing with this factor, avoiding additional stress and taking your eyes off the weather forecast in the days leading up to your wedding (as far as possible!): plan Bs or get married in a sunny countryside.
The preparations, the civil ceremony at the town hall, the indoor ceremony, the dinner/dance will certainly not be affected by bad weather, but what about the beauty, the hairstyles, the outfits, the outdoor ceremony venues, the cocktail party and, above all, the photos? Don’t worry, we’ll make sure your rainy wedding is unique!
Plan Bs for outdoor ceremonies and cocktails are varied: you can use a barnum, tents, or another reception hall (let’s avoid the one that will host your guests for dinner, as this could cause you extra stress when it comes to setting the tables).
As for the photographs, they’ll be unique!
- Bring a few transparent umbrellas for you and your maids of honor, bridesmaids & groomsmen.
- The atmosphere on overcast, gray and stormy days is all the more beautiful! The sky can be a beautiful surprise in terms of colorimetry when it’s thundering.
- Raindrops add a particularly magical backdrop, and you’ll no doubt be able to unwind just as you should by taking a few shots in the rain!
- Trusting your photographer is so important at this moment, because you’ll have to let yourself be guided with your fully trust. No, you won’t have to forget that perfect spot you’ve spotted – anything’s possible, all it takes is a great team (you and your photographer) to erase the dreariness.
Make bad weather an asset, not a worry, so that you can put things into perspective on the big day and peacefully enjoy your wedding day.
